Advanced Disposal - Macon at 2201 Trade Drive, Macon, Georgia.

Absolutely terrible company! My county contracts with these crooks for solid waste removal. I have no choice but to pay because the fees are added onto my property tax bill. If I do not pay, peach county will put a tax lien on my property.
They do a good job with garbage removal, but consistently fail to pick up yard waste. They are supposed to come twice per month; second and fourth Wednesday of each month. They failed to come at all the entire month of September. Advanced Disposal should have picked up on my route the 13th and 27th of September. The piles of yard debris on my road were not picked up as contracted and continued to grow as my neighbors continued cleaning up their yards after Tropical Storm Irma.
After nearly two weeks of complaining to Peach County public works, I was finally contacted by Jordan Scott (general manager); after he was notified that I was appearing at the county commissioner's monthly meeting to discuss Advanced Disposal's failures. I also met with Derry Curry, a supervisor with advanced disposal, on my property. Mr Scott and Mr Curry both assured me that my pile and the others would be picked up. Mr Scott asked me for the opportunity to resolve the situation. At the time, I had no reason to doubt either gentlemen's word. However, the next day (2nd Wednesday of October) they failed to remove all the piles on my road. They did remove some piles and left a mess in the yards. They picked up some of my pile and rejected the rest (wanting it bagged) just as they rejected several other piles on my road. Actions speak louder than words. Mr Scott and Mr Curry have proven that their word is not worth spit.
This has been an ongoing problem with advanced disposal for several years. And it will continue to be a problem as long as they are allowed to continue defrauding their customers. A consumer can be charged with theft of service for not paying for a particular service. What can a service provider be charged with for not providing a service for which they are contracted and paid?
